Stop Cock Trouble

The main body of our stop cock leaks but apparantly it appears to be the 'ol d type' discontinued size. Is there anywhere that deals with old stock where I might be able to purchase one. It is for 15mm rising pipe.

Replacing with a new type isn't an option as its risen from lead into a tight corner in kitchen. I keep tightening the nut and using PTFE which offers temp solution but i would like to try and replace

Why not pack the gland with ptfe for the last time....and install another stop cock immediately after that one - leaving the original turned fully on?

Can you cut the lead and fit a leadlock to a short bit of copper to a new stopcock?

Had a look and there seems to be a few with different letters after

CxC and DZR

My current one comes straight out of the lead pipe if that confirms anything?
