Hello,
I think the windows and doors (upvc) that are fitted in our house came from the Tesco Value range and were installed by someone who didnt realise it rains on occasion in the country.
They will be replaced when funds allow, but i need to find a better way of sealing them. I'm sure the external seal that the glass sits against has been fitted wrong. Its a rubber push in one similar to the picture attached. How should this be fitted into the corners, as its been cut on the back and flared out to 90 degrees, leaving a gaping square that doesn't sit right and lets water in.
Do i need to match this type of seal or can i fit double or single sided glazing foam, if so, do i need to allow for compression?
Thanks
CD
