I've got a fairly old Dimplex storage heater that stopped working the other day. I think someone put a wet towel on it for a bit which probably didn't help. Any ideas what could be wrong and what I can do to solve it?

Cheers

Thermal link inside.

It will either have a fuseable thermal link that needs replacing, or if you are lucky, it will have a resetable one.

The resetable one looks about the size of a 2p, and has a black 'pin' in the middle. Puch the pin downwards sharply, it will click.

Thanks for the advice - not been able to locate the thing you mention so far - but have replaced the fuse in the consumer unit so I'm hoping that might solve it
