Hi, I'd like to move my storage heater into a corner of the bedroom to make room for the bed. Its only a few inches so the electrics don't have to be moved but I was wondering if there would be a problem with one end of the heater being very close to the corner wall?

There will be a minium specified in the install instructions, most of the air flow is up the back, I would guess you would need to leave at least 6", contact manufacture, try there web site.

Just looked at the space - theres not enough room for 6" at the side, but I can get it onto the other wall. However if I put it there, there will be a TV shelf a few inches above it - is that a problem?

I think it would be you need airflow.
To make the room hot
&
To cool the heater or it will just not work properly

Contact the supplier, they may be able to help.
You may need the model number, thats why I sent the other link
