Stoves Double Gas Oven

Hi, When we try to use our gas (Stoves) oven quite often neither oven will light up.

When you turn either control knob to the on position you usually get the fan start up first and then the piezo crystal igniter kicks in which ignites the gas.

However, the only way to get ignition now when the knobs are in the on position is to lightly thump!, area around the control knobs until igniter starts to click and light gas.

Could this be as simple as a loose connection and how difficult to get at controls to see what's going on.
