Getting ready to chauffeur her ladyship to have her bouffant coiffure'd (again) & there's this strange chirping ringing sound started to come from the front door.
Knowing that we don't have a doorbell I rushed over to see if some kind of wild bird was trying to break in. Turns out it was the old landline phone & I swear to God neither of us knew how to answer it.
