WE painted the papered wall below the dado rail in our hall with good quality vinyl silk emulsion paint two years ago. We kept the remains of the paint in a sealed jar for touch ups if necessary. 6 months ago touch up was needed for marks left by our grandson's stair gate and there was no problem. This week I fitted a new handrail and some touching up was necessary in a small area but this has dried matt. Same paint from same sealed pot and a real problem as we don't know the paint colour or supplier. Help appreciated
