Strap and Boss

Hi i'm fitting a strap and boss to a 110mm waste pipe and i have a slight problem i've drilled the hole and attached the strap and then pushed the fitting into it ,but it seems to be leaking at both the bottom of where the strap is connected to the waste pipe and also at the point where the insert enters the strap should there be rubber washer between the strap and the waste pipe ie around the drilled hole or should both of these be glued into place with solvent. thanks in advance for any help

Strap boss should be glued to the 110mm soil pipe with solvent weld adhesive. Boss adaptor should fit into the boss, then the waste pipe into the boss.

Thanks for that should the adaptor be glued into the the strap as well there is a small leak at the bottom of this as well.
