After 5 years our kitchen floor is starting to look a little tired, so I'd like to strip the sealer, thoroughly clean the grout and re-seal.

The sealer I used was HG Impregnator, which I gather means I'll need a strong removing agent.

Any recommendations? I have heard that Aqua Mix make a decent remover, but can anyone suggest anything else? Something I could get off the shelf somewhere would be ideal.

Then, likewise, advice on a decent quality sealer after I have stripped them. The HG stuff was OK, but I'm sure there are much better out there.

They are black slate tiles with dark grey grout, not looking for a wet look, just a natural finish with decent protection.

Any advice appreciated :)
