Strobe Flash on Full Set

I fitted a Texecom Veritas Excel and Reson8 bell box in June 2010,
now i find when setting the panel the strobe flashes 14 times when set
instead of momentarily as it did previously.
The panel sets ok and every thing works.

Any help would be appreciated

Yes it is set to flash on full set
It used to flash momentarily now in flashs 14 times
Can set it not to flash option 7 and it does not flash.

Have you got a test meter?

Put it on VDC and see what the output is doing when setting. If it jams on for 14 seconds its the panel.
If not try a short pulsed negative to the strobe ( you`ll obviously need someone to assist) and see if the strobe only reacts to the pulse, if not its the strobe unit going faulty.

Does appear to be the panel.
In contact with Texecom for repair/replacement under warranty.
