Strong, weatherproof but not too thick tiles?

Hi all,

Hope you can help. I'm trying to learn more about tiles to see if I can find something for a project a friend has. She needs strong weatherproof tiles that are less than 5mm thickness. Can you point me in the right direction please? FInding the tile thickness seems really difficult (or am I just being dumb?)
