Struggling to get insurance

Hello,

I am trying to get public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance for myself but am struggling to even get a quote. It seems to be because of the amount of trades I do, has anyone else had similar problems. The trades I do are:
- electrical installations including eicrs
- property renovation
- small plumbing jobs
- kitchen fitting
- bathroom fitting
- ground works / digger driving
- general building

Any help would be most appreciated.

but for only 1 business
thats what my kitchen fitters did - they got someone in for the electrics and also the gas - otherwsie they did everything else themselves - Plumbing - re-routing CH

and sounds like a general builders , nothing there like gassafe or electical work needing signoff

Thank you, I’ll ring them back and ask. I spoke to 4 different insurers, so I’m a bit surprised they didn’t suggest it.
