The thing has finished it cycle and the "door locked" light goes out - but the door remains firmly shut!
How do I open the door - AFTER unplugging:
- is there some latch inside?
- does pulling a piece of string behind the door work on this model?
I need to open the door to get the serial no. as apparently this is required to get the correct interlock - otherwise, "pumph / bang"
I have taken the top off and probed the interlock but can't find any button / lever / silicon blob mentioned in some forum responses.
(PS - machine still works as have tried partial cycles to bounce the unlock into action but to no avail - but it does goes through cycle selected)
Any help welcome please. Thanks, Mel
