I’m currently building a lean to vaulted roof, and there will eventually be a stud wall under it, running parallel to the rafters. I was planning on putting a double rafter above where the wall will be, or noggins between 2 rafters, to screw the wall top plate to. But then thought There may be a cold bridge issue, am I better sandwiching 25mmcelotex between rafter and studwork? Any tips on how this is normally done much appreciated

There wont much of a thermal bridge through a timber rafter + head of stud wall.

If you are worred, put in a few 2 inch packers before your top plate. You could insulate between the gaps.

That way thermal bridging would only occur at the packers.

I wouldnt sandwich celetex in between, you will have too much flex.
