Studwalls and sound ingress/insulation?

Hi All,

I'm planning on putting up some studwalls on first floor to create bedroom spaces. Once the timber frame is up and one side plaster boarded what is the best material to use to add a bit of sound dampening / insulation for heat in the bedroom and how is it added (between vertical timbers with an air gap to one side of the plasterboard)?
