Studwork and insulation around a window.

Hello!

Im in the process of converting a garage to a insulated workshop - Ive put up stud work that's parallel with he window opening but I didn't think how best to fill the gaps in the window reveal before I did all this (newbie error!)

The gap is quite large, probably around 100mm - Ive attached an image that hopefully best shows the issue. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

as the gap is quite large, just a sealer won't be enough so you need some sort of construction to then seal the gap. maybe something like this could help: buitengevel
