On sunday evening for some reason we had a loss of water pressure to the kitchen taps, washing machine, dishwasher and outside tap (they all come off the same feed).
I assumed it was the entire house and contacted the waterboard but then i checked the other rooms and they are fine.
Main water stop cock is fully open as are all valves underneath the sink to isolate local supplies.
The symptom is you open the tap up to about 1/3 and everything seems ok, but any more and the volume flow rate just dies. This does not seem to be the case for hot water. Additionally, when the flowrate goes low, we get a lot of noise from the main inlet area where the boiler is also located (so difficult to ascertain where any noise is coming from).
Any ideas?
