Our loft conversion has been fully decorated and we are due to have fitted furniture put in. We discovered that where the wardrobes are going the spotlights would be partially covered. Builder sent electrician to move them which he did. He used a device to make the new holes and then left us with the 2 circular discs of ceiling he hade removed to replace in the other holes that will be part covered by wardrobe.
What is the best way to fit these in? We don't want to use any screws/nails and we don't want to re plaster new ceiling. Our decorator suggested pushing the discs in a fraction higher than the ceiling and caulking found the edge, then using fine grade Polyfilla to level it. Not sure if this is best option. We've seen tape that might hold it.
Looking for simple solutions that won't be noticeable once painted over please.
