Suitable cable to hardwire nest thermostat to heat link

Apparantly the ideal cable to use is 0.75mm 2 Core CY control flex cable.

HOwever all of the electrical shops like CEF, TLC etc either hadn't heard of it or they didn't carry it in store.

Given the above what other cable can I use?

Plain copper conductors

If not, standard 2 core, 0.75 mains flex has worked well for me.

Personally, no.
I have a 10m run between heatlink and thermostat.
The heatlink is in the bathroom, directly above the microwave, cable running within 1m of it.

...just to mention, my nest is showing an incoming voltage of 11.08V - which isn't too bad over that distance.
