Hi there.
I am in the process of insulating the walls and ceiling of my log cabin/summerhouse for use as a home office. For the walls I have fixed battens, that will have 35mm insulation wedged between. Behind the insulation there will be an air gap. On top of the insulation a damp proof membrane and then overboarded for final finish.
I would also be fitting some wall vents for ventilation. Any wall vent fitted would now would obviously sit behind the insulation (where the internal wall used to be, effectively ventilating the gap) - would that be a problem? Or does the vent need to allow air into the main room space? Hope this makes sense.
Thanks
