no I think based on the additional information provided he’s covered under the expat agreement but there are certain conditions
this is no longer the case for new expats
As you've stated, I am entitled to NHS treatment when I'm in the UK.
No if's, but's about it. The legislation is abundantly clear.
I have to laugh at one who boasts about taking furlough benefits, of which he has no need, but accuses another of fraud, etc, for something which I am entirely entitled.
All these allegations of fraud, stealing, etc, do indicate the explanation for why Brexiteers voted for Brexit. And all those accusing me of such heinous misdemeanors are Brexiteers. The answer is so obvious, they're incapable of understanding basic arithmetic, mathematics or economics.
Let me explain:
I, probably like them, have paid into the UK system all my working life, maybe for longer than most of them. When in UK I am entitled to free NHS care and treatment, very much like them.
Now the difference is, that I choose to live in France, where about 70% of medical care is state funded, in my case that is recharged back to UK.
The remaining 30%, I can fund myself, or I can take out private health care to cover it, which I do.
Now comes the simple economics that Brexiteers do not have the intellectual capacity to appreciate: when I'm in France I am only entitled to 70% of the cost from France (or as explained, ultimately from UK) for medical care.
I voluntarily pay the remaining 30% of the cost, via health insurance.
I wonder how many of the false accusers can honestly say that they voluntarily pay for 30% of their medical treatment.
Yet they falsely accuse me of thieving and fraud.
No wonder they're so easily lead into voting for something which is to their own detriment.
Unless, of course, they're just typical on-line abusers who hide behind their keyboards making erratic and unjustifiable insults, allegations and abuse, because they can get away with it.
