To a DIY and home improvement forum? Non whatsoever but then again some of the answers you actually get to DIY questions arn't either and some contributors want to comment on any damn thing under the sun whether that be leccy and gas prices, covid, free mobiles, Shamima Begum, HMRC relocation, etc etc

True, but most tend to keep their comments relevant to the topic, or at least they try to keep their comments relevant. But the irrelevant comments tend to divert the discussion somewhat.

But now that you've mentioned it, :)whistle: ) German plans for invading Britain was the wrong approach, they should have taken note of Napoleon's plan, and used Ireland as a springboard.
I'm just listening to a discussion about the eternal triangular problem between Ireland, Europe and UK. It deals mainly with the current Brexit issue, but it starts by looking at the historical development.
