Superlux? Alternative for Apsetos?

Hi

Has anyone heard/used a material called Superlux? Im looking to box-in my fireplace (so i dont need need to look at the old stone) as I have a mulit-fuel burning stove (very hot). I cant use wood as the stove is so hot and someone mentioned Superlux might be a good material to use, they said it was a safe replacement to Aspestos??

Any ideas on what material i could used that would be heat resistant to the stove? Any ides would be much appreciated.
