Just connecting an extractor fan in the bathroom and need to connect the FCU to a supply.
Wish to connect the the FCU to the bathroom ceiling rose as a supply.
Currently the ceiling rose is wired as follows:
Live Terminal Block: 1 Black and 1 Brown (connected to the lamp)
Loop Terminal Block: 2 Reds
Neutral Terminal Block: 1 Black and 1 Blue (connected to the lamp)
Should I connect the twin and earth wire from the FCU to the ceiling rose as a supply as follows:
Red wire to the live terminal block, Black wire to the neutral terminal block and Earth wire to the earth terminal block or a different way?
I have connected the fan to a ceiling pullcord and then to the FCU and now need to connect it to a supply.
Please advise.
