I have just changed my room thermostat, and when I turn the dial all the way on the new one, it blows the 2 amp fuse.
If I dont turn the dial all the way, the system works fine, and doesnt blow.
The boiler is a Suprima 50. and the new room thermostat is just a standard Wikes one.

Any ideas what is causing it,
and anyone know where I can get the 2 amp fuses from in London (city/central)

Thanks

what did you take off and what are you putting back on?

Aswell as "wirting" the room stat incorrectly,i think you may have wired it incorrectly

sheesh call your self a boiler engineer???

is the wirting that makes or break a job matey

like the old saying "balls up the wirting and you balls up the boiler"

try and get poxi out to a poorly wirted boiler
