Article in which the guy argues if councillors can be personally surcharged for reckless spending, then government ministers should be as well, and in the case Mandelson in particular should be surcharged several hundred million.

I agree, labour tried to buy the last election with reckless spending in its last months, they should be brought to account.

IMHO Mandelson should have been barred from ever holding a political post the last time he was thrown out.
He has made millions from government, all for his own benefit.

I woudl think it well nigh impossible that any politician will ever get anywhere near the level of corruption and dishonesty that Mandelson has achieved. He will most likely turn out to be the most corrupt man in English politics for 200 years.
