Classing the Welsh as "wild" however, might be stretching it,

20 years ago, used to work with a group of lads from Merthyr. Ok during the working week, but Friday afternoon onwards seemed to be spent in town getting drunk and fighting. Nothing else to do there. Would definitely class these Welsh boyos as 'wild'. Merthyr did seem to have a particularly wild reputation.
