Hi
As per my previous post we have an indirect cylinder which only heats our bathroom and kitchen hot water.

The past couple of weeks the hot water pipe in the bathroom has started to rumble. When the tap is operated the water initially splutters with instant hot water.
The hot tap to the kitchen tap does not make any noise or splutters. The hot water compared to the bathroom takes a few seconds to arrive.
Hot water comes from the same tank outlet, then Tee branched in the attic.

We have a bungalow

OK, lets try again.

1) You open the hot tap in the bathroom - basin or bath?

2) Initially there is a splutter of water then what - does water continue to flow or stop completely?

3) What's the " instant hot water" reference?

The spluttering stops after a few seconds. Usually if the hot tap is not used for a while the hot water takes a few seconds to come through from the emersion tank. Now it is instant in the bathroom and not the kitchen
