Hi there
My extension is having a suspended floor. The concrete is down as are the sleeper walls. The specs drawing was a little 'light' in terms of insulation
The builder says that he will use chicken wire and put rock wool between the joists, he says this was included in the price. I asked whether celotex packed in between the joists would have better insulating properties.
He said that he would do that if I liked but as celotex is more expensive (and takes longer to fit) he would charge extra.
Is there any advantage to celotex over rock wool in this application?
Many thanks as always
