Hi,
My washing machine sits on a suspended wooden floor in the kitchen and when spinning, half the kitchen vibrates!
I can get access to beneath the floor, there is 4 to 5 foot of space and it is dirt/ soil underneath. (The house sits on a slope, thats why there's so much space)
Any ideas how I can add extra support to the floor joists to stop them vibrating so much.
Any solution needs to take the quite large depth problem under the floor into account. I thought maybe building a breeze block wall perpendicular to the run of joists, but obviously fair amount of work involved.
Any help appreciated.
