Hi

I am installing a solar power system with a standby generator both going into a battery bank. An attached inverted is providing me with 230V AC which I need to run to a location about 300 m distant. The cable to the load will be buried SWA, and will carry a maximum current of 10A, but usually less than 1A.

Can you recommend cable size, and ground fault protection configuration for this setup?

Thanks

Hello.
Aren't test certificates difficult enough to fill in 'space wise' without all our names on the 'design' bit ?

Much more information is needed.

PV is just as likely to cause damage to persons or property as "on grid" installations if it's done badly.. so yes it would fall under Part P in E&W..
it may not be notifiable, but that's a different kettle of fish..
