Hi, any comments appreciated, i have a problem where good image at night untill neighbours car back lights change the image when turning on drive and image stays dark not reverting back untill daylight. When this happens the infrared lights are still on as if not kicked to day mode and stuck, shining a bright torch at the camera changing to day mode and then away...kicking back to night mode (infrareds come back on) the image comes good. I've not tried camera reset yet (hold reset power of keep hold of reset reconnect ethernet) due to recovering from leg op. I've also seen something online about shining a torch at sensor while reconnecting to set light levels or something if there's any truth in it? Only other comment is for a long time I've noticed when streaming that cam on my tablet...if the audio been picked up is very quiet you can here a pattern of clicks a stop then clicks again, this isn't heard on the other cams, other than this disturbance the image is good both night and day. I've attached a couple of screen shots, not able to register on the swann support for some reason to ask there, the camera is a few years old now out of warranty. Thanks in advance

don't do Swann, however sounds faulty, if you have audio recording 24 7 you could be in trouble for eavesdropping.

If a bright outside light comes on good cameras will go to full colour and then when that light goes of it will go black and white.

looks like the light sensor isn't working properly.

Can you not default the camera settings from the DVR/NVR?

Hi thanks for your reply, no I don't have audio recording you can just hear it on live view if its quite out and you tap on the mic. I've had this issue for a while and have noticed that while playing around. I've not looked at settings within nvr as it's inside the loft and not doing ladders with my leg at the moment, but I'll probably do the reset with my cable housing outside when up to it. I suppose I'm hoping a reset would maybe correct a light sensor issue if it did any calibration on coming back online or wondered if there was anything in this bright light into sensor on reset comment I'd seen, I suppose if all fails I could switch it about with one of the others and see what happens, other than that if will be OK in the summer months again when the neighbours coming home during light nights thanks again
