Swing / climbing frame brackets

Can anyone recommend a supplier of brackets for round poles suitable for a climbing frame / swing etc. All the ones I've seen so far are really expensive. eg:

Alternatively, what's the best way to join the poles without brackets?

weld presuming that the poles arnt timber...

or it they are timber you could fabicate something out of wood perhaps.

Or pop into you local metal work company on a saturday morning and ask someone if they fancy making you some brackets for a homer...
