Hi all

Dont know if this should go in plumbing forum but here goes:

I am after an inline type switch which would turn the shower light on when the shower is firsted turned on ( and goes out once water shut off)
Not one of those blue/red leds...somthing to turn 12v spotlight on

IS there such a thing? Sure my mate told me once.

Thanks

Would it not be easier to fit a FCU at 3A, to feed the light, after the shower's pull switch, that way you have some light before the shower is running.

not everybody turns the shower switch off.. I certainly don't and neither does mother ( mainly because her shower switch is in the airing cupboard ) ..

having thought about this last night during a bout of insomnia, I have to ask..
how much does it cost to keep a shower "on standby"? IE, how much am I paying to keep that neon lit all year?

My thanks go to BAS for providing the foundation for a quote:

You would learn to turn it off if it also controlled the light.

In fact this thread has provided me with an idea for some rewiring in a bathroom.
