Switch turns glass black!??

Hi

Does anyone know what he name of this type of system is? I think it's based on a positive or negative charge which when activated, turns the pane opaque. Probably expensive but I'd like to look into the costs.

It's unsurprisingly called SmartGlass. Passing an electric current through it turns it opaque. More details here

Bear in mind its not crystal clear when in clear mode hence why used in offices and not homes.
