Switched fused spur controlling 2 appliances

Is it ok to controll 2 devices via 1 switched fused spur i.e.

(1)Switched fused spur ----->------ (2)single socket outlet-------->-------(3)FCU (for fixed appliance)

i.e. the first SWICHED FCU will isolate if necessary items (2) and (3)

Note (low powered appliances)
 
Thanks Chivers. for item 3 is it common practice to have an FCU to protect the fixed appliance (as well as the connecting cable to the appliance) NO 3 pin plug on the appliance thats all
