Its a long shot, but I am trying to locate a "Switchmaster valve actuator VA2" for my heating system as my one is dead. I know I should really update my system, but that would require an engineer & therefore want to try the diy approach first.

Cheers in advance,

ITYF that thy are obsolete

... so you'll have to do a bit of DIY pipe work and electrics

youmight find the uk.d-i-y newsgroup a bit friendlier

There are some around, even though the factory where they were made was demolished years ago. You'll pay a lot even for used ones though. I recently used one (new) which avoided doing a day's plumbing, and charged accordingly for it.

Hi, thats what I thought about them being obsolete, but thought I would ask as I have read some threads on here about the VA1 & thought I would ask. Looks like its a job for an engineer then as I was confident in swapping like for like, but I will give messing about with pipework, etc a miss.

Cheers guys.
