What about PVC twin and earth in correctly installed egatube rigid plastic conduit, with all egatube joints correctly bonded into place, before any cable gets drawn in, by removing the screw-down draw point covers etc???
Why use T&E inside conduit?

Are you aware that according to GN1 you need 25mm conduit for a single 2.5mm² or 4mm² T&E cable?
 
Twin and earth is a pain to draw into conduit with bends in it, it is far easier to use conduit singles.
