T&G floorboards

I'm looking to lay t&g floorboards on a ground level floor. The problem is the floor was tiled when the house was built 85/90 yrs ago and therefore do not want to remove the tiles. I also cant drive nails into them so is there another way to lay the floor?? A floating floor is also not an option. Any ideas would be grateful.
