Hi, need some advice!

I'm building a chicken run and need to fix the weldmesh to the wooden frame. Hammering a load of staples in doesn't exactly fill me with joy, do you think one of these would do the job?

And would the 18 gauge staples be big enough?

Thanks!

Probably, but sandwiching the mesh by nailing through strips of batten over the framework would be cheaper and more secure.

no, it wont do staples man enough for the job. you need to use proper fencing staples, and the only way to do that is hammer them!

badger - weldmesh you need fence staples:

chickenwire, you could use a stapler but try divergent staples.

But I'm with Deluks on this one, sandwich the mesh between batten/framework & maybe use screws every 200mm. Electric screwdriver'll take no time at all ... unless the run is huge.
