Guys, I think you all know how I am on a quest to establish all the electrical wrong doings in this ancient little 3 bedroom property. Opened up 2 bathroom extractor fans and it seems as though someone has used 1.5mm T+E which is fine. But the Earth is not Earthed at all (not that it is needed here), instead it is a live from the blimmin switch with a bit of red sleeving applied at the end. Surely this is not right? Was this code of practice ok back in the days?
