Hello fellow DIYers
I have wooden floor all around the house in my new house and can anyone tell me how I can take care to stop woodworms getting in? Also at the moment I am just wiping with a wet cloth to clean it. Is that the best way?

Do you have woodworms?
Preservative treatments are the only way by lifting up floorboards and treat it but the timber may have already been treated and could be old holes then no treatment is needed.
If the holes are new, they are normally very clean, then the treatment is usually necessary.

Thanks masona.
I am not sure if I have woodworms but I would like to prevent it from coming in the future. Any ideas what sort of preventative treatments there are available and where I can get them?

Any diy superstore's will have them,

SOLIGNUM one of them for Insecticidal wood preservative and some others brands are available.
