The chipboard flooring in my kitchen isn't great in the area that was and will be, under the washing machine.
I am thinking of putting 18-19mm tongue and groove floorboards in this room but the finished floor level will be higher than the floor level of the hallway outside....so how easy would it be to take out the original chipboard? [the breezeblock walls mean the floor was installed inside them and therefore flooring does not run under the walls but are contained within the kitchen floor area]

It will be very easy , all you need is a hammer and nail-bar to RIP the floor up ,might have to take of the skirting first doh :)

If you take a saw to it, have a look to see what cables and pipes you will go through, so you can have the right tools ready to mend them ;)
