tanking

Hi,i'm about to tile a shower i have 3 walls 2 of which are plastered brick walls one will plasterboard on batons which will be screwed and stuck to a brick wall! would something like thompsons waterseal do for tanking plasterboard and plaster surfaces before tiling???

Sorry no. a tanking system is a cross binding of polymers that still alow tiles to be fixed to them without reducing bonding strength between adhesive and background.
