Tap cartridges

Need to replace 3 pairs of ceramic tap cartridges.

Just wondering if I can remove the ceramic inserts and fit the old style inserts with the standard rubber washers???

I guess once the inserts are removed the tap blocks are identical???

good question. some cd cartridges can be exchanged to compression screw down rubber washer type of valves. so much depends on the tap manufacture,do you know the tap manufacture ? They vary.

sometimes its cheaper and less bother to exchange the complete tap arrangement,i recommend the bristan club range.ok they are very basic taps which can be serviced and they last.They do cd cartridge or compression screw down rubber washers.

they are not a fancy to look at tap but they work
