Hi there,

We have a small issue with our kitchen tap in the fact that the cold water lever no longer turns the water on. It would appear that the part of the tap head that grips the spindle has ground down, as if we swap the tap heads around it works fine.

This is a picture of the tap head. The part that fits onto the spindle sits flush with the back of the tap rather than being inset like replacepart's i have found.

And this is a picture of where it plugs into. Sorry its a bit dark (the spindle it turns is the blue part in the middle.

I was just wondering if its possible to replace this type of tap head as i haven't found anything on google as of yet. Money is a bit tight at the mo so we would rather replace it if possible atm as money will be tight next month or are we looking at replacing the whole thing?

Thanks very much!

You will be able to purchase tap glands from most DIY sheds. You may have to take the original one with you for comparison. If not, then plumbers merchants will :)
