I am after a replacement half inch tap valve ( The brass body that goes inside the tap ) Are their any high street plumbing supplies shops i can get one from. Thnks i can get one off of ebay but want one straight away !!

Are you talking stop cocks or sink taps here? If its the former, buy a complete stopcock and just use the internals (2 different diameters).
Wickes, B&Q etc stock a range of sink tap internals...take the old one with you though.
One of the small differences is the spline diameter and, how may splines there are on the tap shaft.

PTS sell a kit called adaptatap or something like that (can't remember as it is a while since i bought one). Used to cost around a fiver. If you are stuck just buy a pair of basic tap bodies (no heads) for not much more and strip the insides out of them.
