Tapping into a soil stack

I'm adding a utility room, it's below my ensuite and rather helpfully the soil stack is right outside.

Any tips on tapping into it? Strap on boss, or cut out a section of the stack and slot in a tee with a 40-50mm inlet and two female ends?

The strap on seems easier, but I don't want to take the easy option if it leads to problems later.

Strap boss would probably be easier to install but you have to get the hole and mating surface spot on. You could use a short boss pipe.

That'll be fine. LABC might have preference but the strap on boss would work.

Strap Boss, easiest way. Just make sure mating surfaces are clean, and apply plenty of solvent before making the joint, remove excess solvent immediately after making joint.
