hello- I need to repair a piece of tarmac that a car drives over daily. Ive worked out that I can get Cold lay Repair in bags - I suspect I just need a couple.

My question is whether or not i should pack the hole with hardcore - ie smashed up pieces of bricks, or if I lay the cold lay repair direct into the hole.

Any advice appeciated...

Thanks,
Nigel

The problem with cold applied stuff is the time delay when going off. You are likely to disturb the mac unless you can cover it.

Lay hardcore if depth is greater than say 40mm.
