Ok decided to go with a tatajuba hardwood deck which I believe will weather initially to a reddish brown colour from the yellowy original colour.
Question is once the decking is laid what should I then do?
Treat with a preservative and then wait and treat with oil once weathered a bit?
Or should I dive straight in with the oil (which would presemably stop the wood weathering to the browny colour that we like?)
Also best way to apply oil on reeded boards?
Any assistance gratefully received
